laCapell is a bookstore specializing in architecture, urban planning, design, and territorial culture. It was founded as a cooperative in 1976 by a collective of architects from Catalonia. With nearly 50 years of history, laCapell is now a meeting point for professionals and enthusiasts of architecture, offering a bibliographic collection of over 10,000 titles and a strong commitment to critical thinking and local talent. Its network of seven stores, linked to institutions such as the College of Architects of Catalonia, the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, the Disseny Hub, Casa Vicens, the Maritime Museum of Barcelona, the Museum of the History of Barcelona, and the Palau de la Música, has made it a unique cultural constellation in the city.
