PRACTICAL WORKSHOPS ON EARTH AND STRAW
For the first time this year, the organisers of ARCHITECT@WORK PARIS are offering practical workshops directly linked to the Materia architectures exhibition and the round table discussion on local resources. This initiative aims to offer visitors an immersive and hands-on experience of sustainable materials, complementing the theoretical discussions. By giving participants the opportunity to handle, test and experiment with the materials, these workshops provide a better understanding of their potential, limitations and implementation. It is a way of strengthening the synergies between innovation, expertise and environmental commitment, which are at the heart of contemporary architectural concerns.

“La Città Immaginaria” is a temporary, traveling installation designed to bring people together and evoke emotions in cultural spaces. It represents an imaginary skyline of a city with monumental shapes, made up of tens of thousands of Kapla wooden blocks, placed one on top of the other without the use of glue or joints, laid carefully one by one by the artist’s patient hands.
