PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITIONS
PROJECT WALL TRANSFORMATION by world-architects:
World-Architects is presenting a curated project exhibition at ARCHITECT@WORK on the topic of TRANSFORMATION. The 44 selected projects from around the world demonstrate the diverse ways in which existing buildings and landscapes can be transformed for new uses and changing circumstances.
L'ABÉCÉDAIRE D'ARCHINOV
Archinov has created a primer on the architectural professions, in the form of a card game. It will be presented at Architect@Work Lausanne 2026. Each letter represents a word, describing the profession in a playful and poetic way.
TECHNICAL EXHIBITIONS
TIMBER CONSTRUCTION: 50 YEARS OF PROGRESS
This retrospective traces nearly fifty years of development in the timber industry. Through the subjects captured in the photographs, it highlights the technical, construction-related and regulatory innovations that have gradually shaped the timber landscape as we know it today.
INTEGRATE THE PROJECT INTO THE EXISTING STRUCTURE
Students at EPFL have been working on a highly topical issue: how should buildings be treated at the very moment they are designated as heritage sites? The ADHER project workshop at EPFL, led by Professor Claudia Devaux, was invited to devise plans for the conversion and extension of the buildings on the historic Écublens campus.
ART by Etienne Krähenbühl
For this edition in Lausanne, the work of Etienne Krähenbühl will be highlighted through the presentation of the artwork “Notre Terre s’emballe”, created using stainless steel and recycled plastic gloves.
NETWORKING ARCHITECTES.CH
